Cruisers we met

Cruising 2008 - 2009

Last update: 11.04.2018, See also our blog.

We are Eva and Bjørn, our home is Fornebu, outside Oslo. We have sailed together since 1989. Our offshore experience started in the new "Tatt av vinden" in 2006, the third boat we have owned. We love the cruising life.

In 2013 we sailed "Tatt av vinden" to Caribbean, and we still keep it there. We have sailed some months each year since. From 2018 we plan for more...

We sail to see new places and meet new people. We sail carefully and slowly - what's another day at sea?

Eva retired in February 2018 from her work as head of a section in the Biomedical department in Rikshospitalet, Oslo.

Bjørn retired from his work as project leader and private consultant in WSP in 2016.

Besides sailing we love hiking, bicycling, traveling, reading, meeting and talking with people.

Every day should bring some new learning. And, when cruising, it does.
