Bus drive to English Harbour |
We jump on the second of two buses in St. John on our way to English Harbour. That was a mistake. Halfway to our destination we had to stop the bus to get out. The driver drove like crazy. After one extremly dangerous overtaking, we got out, and waited for the next bus. |

This was quite a difference. The bus was full with scoolchildren on their way home. Most of the children were commanded in the back of the bus, and we four grownups got seats. Now we had a more careful driver, and we came on all the side roads to bring the children to their homes. |

They were a little curious about the ailens. (And they charmed us totally of coarse,) |
