For information there is a lot of internet stuff. Here are some sites and blogs that we found useful when we planned for the Pacific:

www.noonsite.com

www.svsoggypaws.com

www.carmody-clan.com

www.loupan.se

And these are some useful guides:

  • "South Pacific Anchorages" (Clay. Imray)
  • "Charlie's Charts" (P&S Marine LLC)
  • "Cruising Vanuatu" (Nautical Publications)

For most of the Lesser Antilles Chris Doyl's guides are must have.

For Puerto Rico Frank Vestigino's Free cruising guides are quite Useful. Free on the internet.

For Colombia Colombia tourist authority has made a guide with detailed charts. It is free on the internet.

For San Blas, Eric Bauhaus guide 4h edition (5th edition available from 2015) is indispensable.
