South Pacific

Fakarava - Tuamotus (3)

At one of the many small beaches in Rotoava (Fakarava north) we found these nurse sharks. They measure more than 1,5 m.

They came for the leftovers from fish cleansing..

You lay your hands on and are good to a dog, but to a shark?. Well this is jus what Anne Sofie does here.

Lunch after a bicycle trip, at one of the restaurants just outside Rotoava.

The restaurant in Tetuana village (South pass).

The three of us have a coke and waits for dinner.

Sunset over the racing currents (outgoing) in the South pass.

The groupers are gathering in the south pass to mate at the July full moon. That is the time for the even more exciting experiences than those we had.
